A Home to Horses since 1880

Bachelors Lodge Equestrian Centre is a family run establishment in the heart of County Meath where six generations of the Lowry family have proudly been operating an equine establishment since 1880. In times past, it was a thoroughbred stud farm breeding quality racehorses and since 1990 the tradition has continued as Bachelors Lodge is now home to one of Meath’s leading equestrian facilities. In addition to our onsite riding school and livery, we have extensive experience in sourcing and purchasing international sport horses for clients in Ireland and around the world.

“Bachelors Lodge is set in a beautiful, peaceful location. I have my horse in Livery there for two years now and both my horse and I could not be happier. I’d highly recommend Bachelors Lodge and the team.”

— Alana, Livery Owner

“Anthony Lowry coached me up the levels to Elementary dressage and 1.10m jumping. With great facilities and experienced coaches, Bachelors Lodge is the perfect place for competitive riders to advance their riding.”

— Lizzy, Rider

“Bachelors Lodge sourced my incredible sporthorse Cabotines Des Rosiers Z. Anthony is undoubtably an international expert - he was incredible to work with, patient and searched high and low for the perfect horse.”

— Lucy, Singapore
